North Wiltshire - Long Visits, Sit Ins, PA Support

· Weekdays £11.00

Bank Holidays will be paid at time and a half of your standard daily rate.

Shifts:

  • Shifts are usually a mixture of 7am-2pm and 4pm-10pm including alternative weekends
  • Weekend and/or evenings only shifts also available including 6pm-10pm
  • Night shifts available in Trowbridge for a female carer 8pm-7am
  • Wednesday 11am-3pm Chippenham PA required, driver with a car and business insurance
  • Note - all of our team members start on a zero hours contract while you complete your 3 month training period. Following this guaranteed hour contracts are available

Community First!

You will be supporting our customers across North Wiltshire with our aim to start you off as close to home as possible. However should you journey be a little further we will start paying your mileage after the first 10 miles. Areas include Calne, Melksham, Atworth, Market Lavington, Devizes, Trowbridge and Winsley.

There will be travel involved daily so a reliable vehicle is essential. If you ever get stuck we have a variety of company vehicles we can lend you in order to maintain our essential service and ensure you earn the money you need to.

Care Assistant - Community

HOMECARE ASSISTANT- NORTH WILTSHIRE

Retain Healthcare have expanded our long term homecare services in the North Wiltshire area, this includes Melksham, Chippenham, Devizes, Trowbridge, Westbury, Warminster, Marlborough, Malmesbury. Areas are divided into manageable distances for staff.

As a result of our community based work, we are seeking drivers to support these customers within their own homes continuing long term care. Shifts are generally between 0700-1400 and 1600-2200 however our long term homecare hours can vary to the shift times above in order to offer an outcome based service to the individuals we support. So please do get in touch if you are available school hours, early mornings, evenings and weekends.

No experience is required as we will provide you will a full training induction and shadow shifts, ensuring you are confident and knowledgeable along your transformation into a community based Care Assistant. You will be supporting people in their own homes to maintain their independence and reablement them back into the community.

Duties could include;

Ø Supporting those we care for to begin the day and end the day as they wish, including: getting dressed/undressed, washed and comfortable, prompting medication.

Ø Working within a support plan with using outcome focused objectives.

Ø Assisting with mobility through encouragement, hoists and stand aids.

Ø Providing personal care where required.

Ø Providing companionship such as going out into the community such as to go shopping, to appointments, church or clubs.

Ø Being there to provide reassurance and emotional support throughout the visit.

SUPPORT WORKER / PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Experienced Support Worker needed for part time /Full time night shifts.

You will have a professional approach, promoting independent choices and providing continuity to this customer. You do not require previous experience, as requested by our customer, personality and the right ethos is more important. Full training is provided.
