We are looking for a healthcare assistant for one of our complex care packages in Melksham. There are a variety of shift times and lengths available. 

We are looking for a kind hearted and hard working individual to support a young adult (female) with a neurological disorder. The client is weelchair bound but has a ceiling track hoist within the home.

The main duties and responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the customer with their personal care needs.
  • Supporting with PEG care.
  • Use of moving and assisting equipment such as ceiling track hoists, electric wheelchairs, through the floor lifts, toto’s etc.
  • Taking the client out for walks and hot chocolate 
  • Encouraging creative play and enjoying games, music, and television

Requirements:
  • 1 year complex care experience necessary
  • PEG feeding and Oxygen
  • Must hold a FULL UK driving license
  • Creativity

Community Team Leader

Title: Community Team Leader Homecare

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that care services are provided in a way that maximises a person’s independence, choice, and dignity. The individual will achieve this through in-depth and person-centred care planning, care assessments and risk assessments. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Role:

  • To ensure the branch continues to grow and develop its homecare service.

  • Ensure that the coordinating team create travel effective rotas in advance and that customers have a consistent high-quality service from people they know.

  • Report and record any safeguarding concerns to the Branch Manager.
  • Attend training and expand your personal development, you will need to have the ability to use reflective practice and that learning logs are completed so that lessons can be learnt and improve overall service delivery for the branch
  • Approve and keep a record of holidays and ensure there is appropriate staffing levels to ensure capacity.
  • Monitor sickness and absence of staff and work with staff to improve where their attendance is below the expected standard.
  • You will need to ensure that the homecare service works in an outcome focus way that is person centred to the individual customer. Ensuing that support plans a written to a high standard and that risk assessments are carried out and reviewed in line with the company’s policy. Mentoring to staff responsible for care plans and risk assessments on how this should be carried out.
 
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Relevant experience in similar role (ideally with NVQ Level 3 in Social Care)
  • A full UK Driving License
  • Strong system proficiency and local area knowledge

Job Title: Healthcare Assistants DRIVER
Location: Swindon & accross Wiltshire
Salary: £12.75 - £15.50 per hour

We're seeking  compassionate Healthcare Assitants in and around Swindon and Wiltshire to provide support & care to  clients individuals with diverse needs including elderly care, physical disabilities, and long-term health conditions. 12-hour shifts are available, both full-time and part-time. A driving licence is essential.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Completing regular checks for health and welfare.
  • Supporting the client with their personal care needs.
  • Administering medication.
  • Use of moving and assisting equipment such as ceiling track hoists, electric wheelchairs, through the floor lifts, toto’s etc.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and a commitment to person-cantered care
  • Encouraging independence where possible.
 
 
Requirements
  • Must hold a valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
  • Demonstrable experience in the industry, minimum 6 months paid experience required
  • Availability to attend in person 5 days of mandatory induction training in one of our offices (Cheltenham, Salisbury, or Chippenham).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient nature.
  • Ability to work independently and with initiative
