Job Description

Our client based in Forest of Dean is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to join their team and lead the delivery of high-quality residential care services for adults with learning disabilities. As a Registered Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the residents live fulfilling and independent lives, upholding the values of Person-Centred Care.
Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Quality Care: Ensure the delivery of exceptional care and support that upholds the rights and choices of each client.
  • Staff Management: Line manage, supervise, and develop Deputy Managers and Team Leaders, ensuring they have the skills and resources to excel.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with CQC standards and other relevant regulations, leading the service through inspections.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement, actively seeking new ideas and implementing best practices.
  • Partnership Working: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including families, professionals, and local authorities.
Person Specification:
  • Qualifications:
    • NVQ 4/SVQ4 or RMA in Health and Social Care
    • NVQ or SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care with eligibility for the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
    • Two years' experience as a Registered Manager in a Health and Social Care setting
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Proven ability to manage and motivate staff
    • Commitment to Person-Centred Care
    • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
    • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £43,000 to £48,000
  • 37.5-hour workweek (Monday-Friday) with on-call rota
