The Role
The role will involve working as part of our Nursing team to provide:
  • Personal care
  • Administration of medication
  • Accurate Record Keeping (Daily records, MARS sheets)
  • Syringe Driver
  • Peg Feeds
  • Catheter care and catheterisation where required,
  • Promotion of independence
  • Follow policies and procedures
  • Understand and follow the NMC Code of conduct

    Key Responsibilities:
     
    Provide key support and care to clients within the designated service.
    Offer personal care assistance to identified clients.
    Play an active role in assessing and managing client risk in a calm and clear manner.
    Manage client meetings and facilitate the involvement of Client Inclusion and Training representatives.
    Ensure adherence to policies and procedures regarding medication management within the facility.
    Assist in managing the referral process to achieve agreed occupancy levels within the service.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
    • When required liaise with Social Workers, District Nurses and other agency professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
    • Contribute towards communicating changes of requirements.
