 Healthcare Assistant Waking Nights (Male)
Location: Westbury
Salary: £14 - £15 per hour

We're seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant in Westbury to provide waking night support to a client with Parkinson's disease. 12-hour shifts are available, both full-time and part-time. A driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remaining awake and alert for the entirety of the shift.
  • Completing regular checks for health and welfare.
  • Supporting the customer with their personal care needs.
  • Supporting the customer to meet their outcomes.
  • Administering medication.
  • Use of moving and assisting equipment such as ceiling track hoists, electric wheelchairs, through the floor lifts, toto’s etc.
  • Encouraging independence where possible.
Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience as Healthcare Assistant (minimum 6 months)
  • Driving Licence
  • Availability to attend in person 5 days of mandatory induction training in one of our offices (Cheltenham, Salisbury, or Chippenham).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient nature.
  • Ability to work independently and with initiative.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care.
