Healthcare Assistant - Mere, Waking Nights

Personal Assistant - Mere, Nr Warminster Waking Nights

Experienced Personal Assistants needed for full time night shifts starting at 20.00 and finishing at 08.00.

You will have a professional approach, promoting independent choices and providing continuity to this customer. You do not require previous experience, as requested by our customer, personaility and the right ethos is more important. Full training is provided.

As a Personal Assistant you must:
* Respect and maintain strict confidentiality
* Be open minded and have a flexible attitude
* Have an understanding of, and a commitment to, disability equality
* Take direction from your customer and work in accordance with their wishes
* Have good verbal and written communication skills
* Know when to use your initiative and when to take a back seat
* Be reliable and punctual
* Be willing to provide all personal care
* Be willing to perform domestic tasks, e.g. ironing, cleaning, washing clothes.

Things the customer may enjoy:
* Cooking/Baking
* Going to the cinema
* Shopping
* Looking after pets
* Gardening
* Keeping the house clean and tidy
* Volunteering
* Listening to music
* Time alone
* Going out - this can be something as simple as going food shopping, to spending a couple of nights away. These trips will never put the customer or the Personal Assistant in any situation which would breach health and safety regulations and the agency will always be informed if you are going away over-night. Also, the Personal Assistant will never be asked to contribute financially for any travel costs.

As you can imagine, many of these activities are currently restricted due to COVID-19 and lockdown regulations, as a result there will be variations to the duties included in this ever evolving time.

Personal Assistant - Yetminster

Are you a personal assistant who enjoys the outdoors? Are you comfortable with working dogs?

If you are available for 0800 - 1800 shifts, 3 days a week to work in Yetminster, Dorset we have a wonderful opportunity for you. (Yetminster is 4 miles South West of Sherbourne)

You will be working on a 1-2-1 basic as a PA supporting a 64 year old gentleman, it will be mainly day shifts with the occasional sleep in.

You will be a non smoker and due to the insurance for our customers car, you will be a driver over 25 to enable you to drive the customer in his car.

Due to the active lifestyle of this gentleman you will like dogs and be happy in supporting this gentleman to lead an active life, he enjoys going to his social clubs (Shooting) and the gym.

In addition you will carry out domestic duties and provide all support needed.

To be a successful Personal Assistant you will have the following skills and experience:

  • A full UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
  • Love working with people and enjoy giving back to your local community.
  • Kind, caring and compassionate nature.
  • Prior experience isn't necessary but experienced PA's are very welcome. Full training is provided however NVQs and Diplomas are always beneficial.
