Retain Healthcare is a private limited company offering temporary and permanent cover to the care sector, our Head Office is based in the centre of Cheltenham, with branches in Chippenham, Salisbury and Bristol, we cover the South West. Through our branch network we supply well trained and fully vetted Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to the care sector and are registered with The Care Quality Commission to provide regulated services covering personal care & treatment of disease and disorder and injury to people living the community.
We also provide a Safer Independence service that supports people through the use of assistive technology. This is for people wishing to remain as independent as possible at home with a light touch support service, including wellbeing checks. This service also benefits people who have received a period of reablement or rehabilitation, so that their confidence can be built and still receive support to reach their individual outcomes.

We work with our customers to shape and model service delivery, ensuring that we are providing value for money and high quality. This is achieved by ensuring our staff are appropriately skilled to provide the correct care and support that each individual customer requires. Our carers and nurses have a full classroom based induction, ongoing training and development, an individual career pathway, customer specific training, regular supervision and annual appraisal. This investment into our team ensures we retain our skilled workforce and enables them to provide the high standards we expect. Our in-house training company Retain Skills provide us with a full range of both care and clinical courses and can respond to business needs as well as individual customers’ needs, providing the staff with the correct skills and confidence to carry out their role.
Our ability to provide such a range of services is supported by our Clinical Leads and their team of experienced RGN’s, RMN, RLDN and Paediatric Nurses.
We work with each customer to develop their individual support plan and our team will support and make changes as the person moves on their pathway with us. Our end of life pathway has been sensitively developed using customer and family experiences and expectations. Therefore, we focus on the three key areas: What’s important to you right now, What’s important to your family, What are your wishes.
