Job Description

Here at Retain Healthcare we are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Nurses to build on our expanding and experienced team. Skills can be trained but being kind and compassionate needs to come naturally.

At Retain Healthcare our Nurses are invaluable to us delivering excellent quality and effective service to the Nursing, residential homes and learning disability establishments within Trowbridge, Devizes this includes local surrounding areas. Reliability and effective communication with the office team is essential to maintain a good relationship and ensuring full support is given at all times from both parties.

    The role will involve working as part of our Nursing team to provide:
    • Personal care
    • Administration of medication
    • Accurate Record Keeping (Daily records, MARS sheets)
    • Syringe Driver
    • Peg Feeds
    • Catheter care and catheterisation where required,
    • Promotion of independence
    • Follow policies and procedures
    • Understand and follow the NMC Code of conduct

    Retain Healthcare, Bristol are currently recruiting care assistants to work within specialist residential care homes and supported living services in Bath for ongoing shifts. You will be supporting adults of varying ability to live a normal life.
    The role will require some personal care, house keeping and general companionship. The work will be onging and mainly 12 hour shifts both day and night.

    You will be working alongside a team of experience and dedicated staff who specialise in the care of vulnerable residents both full time and respite.

    The role will include:

    • Helping residents to remain as active and independent as possible
    • Respecting residents’ rights of choice, privacy and dignity
    • Supporting residents with mealtimes and personal care.
    • Helping residents with hobbies, activities and engaging in physical activities in a relaxed environment
    • Assisting with medication

    A variety of shifts will be available , both day or night and bookable via our dedicated app.
     
    Travel allowance for people living outside a 10 mile radius of the service.

    Requirements for this role:


    • Minimum 6 months paid experience in care setting
