Registered Nurse - North Wiltshire

As an expanding Healthcare Agency, we have a growing need for Registered Nurses, especially those willing to support hospital discharges and end of life care needs for those testing negative to COVID-19 to easy hospital spaces across this pandemic. Here at Retain Healthcare we are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Nurses to build on our expanding and experienced team. Skills can be trained but being kind and compassionate needs to come naturally, especially due to the nature of the people you will be working with.

Our Registered Nurses are invaluable to us delivering excellent quality and effective service to the Nursing homes and specialist clinical units within Chippenham, Trowbridge, Melksham, Malmesbury, Calne, Corsham, includes local surrounding areas. Reliability and effective communication with the office team is essential to maintain a good relationship and ensuring full support is given at all times from both parties. We have work available for RN's wanting early, late and night shifts in a variety of settings on a full or part time basis.

The Role:

We rely on our Nurses to leave a good impression to form part of our ongoing reputation in the local area. The registered nurse role will involve working as part of our Nursing team to provide:

  • Personal care
  • End of life care
  • Hospital Discharges
  • Administration of medication
  • Accurate Record Keeping (Daily records, MARS sheets)
  • Syringe Drivers
  • Peg Feeds
  • Catheter care and catheterisation where required,
  • Promotion of independence

    Retain Healthcare are developing a brand new service, and we are looking for the very best support workers in Wiltshire to work within a specialist supported living setting in Chippenham. You will be working alongside a team of experienced and dedicated staff who specialise in supporting young adults with an Autistic Spectrum Conditions and Eating Disorders.  You will be supporting people with a therapeutic approach that enables them to live a fulfilling life.

    This team will receive the very best training and development to ensure that they are skilled in supporting the people we support. We are looking for full time, part time and bank staff, days, nights and Sleep ins to deliver this service with a range of contracts to meet your individual employment needs.

    Pay rates are £14.00 to £21 per hour (with holiday pay accrued separately)

    Location:
    The service is situated in Chippenham.
    Your duties will be assisting with all aspects of daily living including personal care, medication and supporting to attend healthcare appointments. Accessing paid employment and opportunities, exploring the local community and maintaining relations with family and friends. Additional activities may include:

    • Animal Therapy
    • Further Education
    • Walking/exercise
    • Social events to develop skills 
    • And supporting other personal interests that they have
    Requirements for this role:
    • Minimum 6 months paid experience in a similar setting
    • Right to work in the UK
    • Driving Licence preferable
    • PBM or PMVA training - although this can be provided for the right person
