Support Worker
Job Description
Retain Healthcare are seeking support workers in Cheltenham, Stroud, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Forest of Dean, Cirencester and local villages, to work a variety of weekday and weekend shifts - Days or Nights.
Retain Healthcare are are seeking people with the qualities to deliver the highest standards of care and support for individuals with learning disabilities including Autism, profound multiple learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
You will need to have a minimum of 6 months experience for this role and support people with social activities, day trips, sport, searching for employment or attending college. If you are talented, caring and compassionate we would love to hear from you.
The role includes:

* Supporting people to communicate in different ways

- Following the outcome focused model, encourage customers to undertake personal care and tasks which they are capable of, recognising that their abilities may change, in some circumstances, on a day-to-day basis
