CARE COORDINATOR - CHELTENHAM BRANCH

MATERNITY COVER

We are looking for a professional and customer focused person to account manage existing and new customers across Wiltshire. Due to maternity cover this exciting opportunity exists within Retain Healthcare - You will be working alongside the Branch Manager and Coordinators to support our range of community based support packages of care as well as our home from hospital customers.

We are an experienced, dynamic Healthcare provider offering temporary and permanent recruitment solutions to healthcare establishments and community based customers across the South West, with branches in Cheltenham, Chippenham, Salisbury, Bournemouth and Bristol, we are the agency of choice for many providers in the local area.

As a Care Coordinator you will support and develop our key accounts with their staffing requirements working in partnership with them to understand their support needs, building outstanding relationships and ensuring our customers feel supported.

To be a successful Care Coordinator you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven sales experience
  • A full UK driving license with access to a vehicle
  • Love working with people
  • Understanding of the healthcare industry would be advantageous

    Education

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • When required liaise with Social Workers, District Nurses and other agency professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
    • Contribute towards communicating changes of requirements.
    • Ensure that you work within the company policies and procedures.
    • Attending training and expanding your personal development
    • Assist customers as appropriate with their personal needs, such as dressing, washing, meal preparation and access to their community as detailed in the Care Plan.
    • When working within a customer’s home setting you may be assisting customers with, or where necessary carry out light housework, such as dusting, sweeping/ vacuuming carpets, living rooms/ kitchens/ bathrooms and toilets, polishing furniture using dusters/ mops/ equipment, washing and ironing clothing and bed linen, preparing and cooking a meal.
