Job Description

* Registered Nurse * Band 5 / 6 * Near Bath *

* WEEKLY PAY * FLEXIBLE WORKING * FREE CLINICAL TRAINING *

At Retain Healthcare we are supporting our customer with finding several professional and hard working Registered Nurses for a project in a Community Hospital near Bath. In addition we are looking for Band 5 / 6 Registered Nurses throughout Bath, Bristol, Keynsham and North Somerset to work flexible hours, including full and part time. At Retain Healthcare we represent a variety of experienced Registered Nurses across the South West with a huge range of skills and experience.

As a Registered Nurse you will promote high standards of evidence based practice at all times, providing strong professional operational leadership across multiple inpatient areas. They will oversee the delivery of high quality, safe and effective care that is focused on improving outcomes and experiences for patients, families and carers.

The post holders for this project will be required to operate within a dynamic environment and in collaboration with agencWe are looking to expand our clinical team and are seeking Registered Nurses throughout Bath, Bristol, Keynsham and North Somerset to work flexible hours, including full and part time.

    The role will involve working as part of our Nursing team to provide:
    • Personal care
    • Administration of medication
    • Accurate Record Keeping (Daily records, MARS sheets)
    • Syringe Driver
    • Peg Feeds
    • Catheter care and catheterisation where required,
    • Promotion of independence
    • Follow policies and procedures

    Requirements:

    Block Pay.
    An option to earn extra income with Block Pay is available for our carers, who offer a combination of homecare and block services.
    How does Block care work?
    • Set shifts 7-2 and 4-10
    • We pay for 13 hours per day , regardless of contact time
    Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
    • When required liaise with Social Workers, District Nurses and other agency professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
    • Contribute towards communicating changes of requirements.
    • Ensure that you work within the company policies and procedures.
    • Attending training and expanding your personal development
    • Assist customers as appropriate with their personal needs, such as dressing, washing, meal preparation and access to their community as detailed in the Care Plan.
    • When working within a customer’s home setting you may be assisting customers with, or where necessary carry out light housework, such as dusting, sweeping/ vacuuming carpets, living rooms/ kitchens/ bathrooms and toilets, polishing furniture using dusters/ mops/ equipment, washing and ironing clothing and bed linen, preparing and cooking a meal.
    • Following the outcome focused model, encourage customers to undertake personal care and tasks which they are capable of, recognising that their abilities may change, in some circumstances, on a day-to-day basis
