Registered Manager - Chippenham
A rare and exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to lead our fantastic Chippenham branch covering North Wiltshire and surrounding areas. The branch is well established having opened in 2010 and always had a good CQC rating. Retain Healthcare deliver a wide range of services from our Chippenham Branch, meaning that no two days are the same in this busy and vibrant team.
The primary responsibility of the Registered Manager is to lead and support the team to adhere to our policies and procedures. You will be good at building and maintaining relationships with customers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support the customer to achieve their outcomes. You will be a self-starter able to inspire the team to strive for quality and to achieve their goals. You will be supported in the day-to-day operations of the service by a team of Care Coordinators, Senior Carers, our in house training, recruitment and finance departments and by a highly skilled Senior Management Team.
As the Registered Manager you will be Registered with the CQC and be accountable for the compliance and outcomes of the CQC inspections, while maintaining high quality in line with the Retain strategy, policies and procedures on a day-to-day basis.
This role will include building relationships with local authorities, NHS Hospitals, social care and health community teams.

- You will have a Diploma level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- You must have at least 3 years' experience in managing a similar service

This package has two shift patterns, 08:00-20:00 and 20:00-08:00. Please note that night shifts are waking nights.
The main duties and responsibilities include:- Remaining awake and alert for the entirety of the shift.
- Completing regular checks for health and welfare.
- Supporting the customer with their personal care needs.
- Supporting the customer to meet their outcomes.
- Supporting the customer with daily activities such as shopping, hobbies, attending appointments, accessing the community and keeping the home up together with domestic tasks.
- Administering medication.
- Use of moving and assisting equipment such as ceiling track hoists, electric wheelchairs, through the floor lifts, toto’s etc.
- Encouraging independence where possible.
Requirements:- Previous care experience necessary
- 25 years old and over
- Must hold a UK driving license
- Weekly pay (£15-£19 per hour dependent on day and time of shift)
- Flexible shift patterns to suit you, alternatively a rolling rota is also available
- DBS cost paid back to you after 100 hours completed
- Opportunity to top up your hours in other areas of the business
