JOB TITLE - SENIOR HOMECARE SUPPORT WORKER
INTRODUCTION
The primary responsibility of a Senior Homecare Support Worker is to become an ambassador to maintain high standards. Support the Community and Reablement based team, office coordinators and management team to Retain Quality and Indeptndence within the community.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As well as encouraging clients to in the community to maintain the maximum degree of independence and to engage in activities appropriate to their abilities, you will be delivering a high level of support. As a part of our Quality and Mentoring the team you will also be;
Must have a level 3 diploma in health and social care or equivalent, or be working towards this

Retain Healthcare, Gloucestershire are currently recruiting senior care assistants to work within specialist residential care home on the outskirts of Cheltenham for ongoing shifts. You will be working alongside a team of experience and dedicated staff who specialise in the care of elderly residents both full time and respite.
Pay rates are £11.25 to £22.50 per hour (with holiday pay accrued separately)

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that care services are provided in a way that maximises a person’s independence, choice and dignity. The indiviual will achieve this through in-depth and person-centred care planning, care assessments and risk assessments. The Community Team Leader will also provide support to the care team, enabling to understand each customer’s support needs.
