Support Worker - Supported Living
Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire
Salary: from £12.75 per hour

Retain Healthcare is a fast-growing provider of supported living services, dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. We offer a range of personalized support services, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personalized support to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Supporting individuals in developing and maintaining social relationships and participating in community activities.
  • Promoting independence and self-advocacy skills.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of support provided.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals involved in the individual's care, such as family members, healthcare providers, and social workers.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities, preferably in a supported living setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle essential.
  • PMVA qualification or experience in caregiving or social work are desirable

    Retain Healthcare is seeking compassionate and reliable Care Assistants and Support Workers to join our growing team! We offer rewarding weekend shifts that allow you to make a real difference in people's lives while maintaining a work-life balance. Your duties will be assisting with all aspects of daily living including personal care.

    Pay rates are £13.50 to £22 per hour (with holiday pay accrued separately)
